MSc/PG Dip in Counselling, PQD in Counselling Children and Young People (pending), MBACP, Certificate in Working with Trauma
Christine is a trained Pluralistic counsellor working with adults, young people, families and groups. Working collaboratively, Christine believes each client is unique, has individual needs, expectations and goals.
Her practice is centred around the core conditions of person-centred theory, believing that the therapeutic relationship is key in supporting clients achieve their desires.
Additionally, Christine works with transactional analysis, existential and interpersonal theories and incorporates creative methods to help clients communicate and work through difficult issues.
Taking a holistic view of clients, working outdoors with nature, walking, running (coach) and any form of exercise are strong motivators for Christine's practice, dependent on the clients ability and/or wishes.
Christine has experiences working with both adults and young people who have concerns around, substance misuse, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety and trauma.
Christine has previously worked in the voluntary sector, educational sector with pupils and teaching staff, University tutor and private practice.
